The State Championship this year saw the return of an invitation only event, with competitors from Rounds One and Two competing against each other, finally being able to put the effects of Covid over the last four years behind us. Throughout the year there was a huge reduction in the number of people missing a tournament round due to illness, and this showed with another large competitor turn out for this year’s State Title.

QLD Round 1 - Gold Coast - 3rd April 2022
The National All Styles tournament circuit has been in existence for over 30 years, with tournament circuits in most capital cities and regional areas, making it one of the most professional sought-after competitions in Australia.
Returning to "business as normal" after Covid is still doing havoc on small businesses, sporting organisations, and martial arts schools, and the current economic crisis with Queensland’s worst flooding's in history isn't helping matters.
Despite favourable government signals, small businesses, particularly athletic bodies, are nevertheless struggling because of the loss of many long-term clienteles who have decided not to return to training, causing the owner to permanently close their long-standing firm. Some companies are operating at a snail's pace when it comes to attracting new clientele. NAS QLD is one such business that has been greatly affected by the Covid pandemic and recent server storms and flooding. We are looking forward to rebuilding a bigger and better NAS tournament circuit where once again martial art school’s competitors and families can attend a great day of martial arts competition.
Welcome Back Victoria - Round One Highlights.
